We Left Louisiana and headed to Red Bay Alabama, Home of Tiffin Motorhomes. We arrived at the Tiffin Service Center to rainy weather and 40 degrees, a bit chilly.
We checked in with the front office to put our name on the list to have problems fixed on our motorhome and for an RV site.
We were a little bummed to find out that there were about 60 motorhomes in front of us. Needless to say our stay here will be at least 3 days. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we will be ready to go in 3 days.
Our home for the next 3 days
The Tiffin service center has 35 service bays. The camping spots have electric, sewer and water (which is turned off due to possible freezing) and is located on an old airstrip. They have us make a list of the issues when we check in, the next day a guy comes around and goes over things. He said I can get you in a service bay tomorrow with 2 guys and 3 hours of work or you will have to wait about 2.5 weeks. We chose the 2 men/3 hrs. Most of the items are cosmetic in nature so we should be ready to go by Thursday! :)
Huge line of motorhomes to be fixed
Our second day here (Tue March 3rd) and we learned that they are expecting snow tomorrow. YeeeHaaaw.
Huge service center
We will continue the blog once we get back on the road. Thanks for looking and sharing your comments. We love reading them.
